Words can not express how much we are proud of this girl! She is so talented and so humble and kind. She organized a tribute to her choir director and with the help of choir members they were able to show their appreciation and support for him. Here is the tribute: You Will Be Found
Ashleigh also received Female Singer of the Year and other accolades throughout the evening representing her talents and love for music.
This is a pic from Drama Banquet. Ashleigh received a special award-Triple Threat- (for singing, acting, and dancing). No bias-she did an awesome job playing a "mean girl", Amber, in Hair Spray. She was the bad girl everyone loved but hated. True acting
I am so blessed! We had an amazing day downtown. It was second Sunday. We strolled King Street with the outside vendors, art, and entertainment. We also sampled pralines on Market Street. We ate lunch at Jestine's. It was a hot day, but we all had fun!
Ashleigh and I started Mother's Day weekend on Friday night as we saw Singing in the Rain. She and I ate Zaxby's on the way.
Cane Bay Choirs never ceases to amaze me. The Variety Show was yet another moment of how awesome these kids are talented. Not only does the show entail their talents of singing, but also shows their friendships, dedication, hard-work, and kind hearts. This years theme was Music with A Message. Here are a few selections:
Austin's Choir Perfomance at CBE-Character Matters!
Our neighborhood had a yard sale. Ashleigh and I found this deal! Austin and Dylan were so excited! Chris and the boys brought the truck to pick it up. Chris set a couple of bolts and viola! Loads of fun!
Dylan had Special Olympic Spring Games! He received an award for running and softball throw!
