The new year, 2023, is upon us!! Great news Ashleigh passed her NCLEX and will join the workforce in her hometown. She will work at the children’s hospital in the ER unit. She is thriving as a new wife and sister (in law). I love hearing about her experiences and life in this new season. Austin and Dylan scored well on their quarter two report cards with all As for the first semester. Dylan will continue PE this semester along with his other classes. Austin has no change in electives this semester.
We visited Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg over the MLK, Jr holiday weekend. Yes, it was cold. We prepared with coats, gloves, and hats. We were able to play in the snow, ride go carts (yes we were cold), drive to Cades Cove (and see deer), good food and desserts (ready to get back to our meals at home), and many laughs (especially with the snowballs and sneaking up on one another)…fun memories.
