May.. wedding countdown started at the beginning of the month. I put together small gifts for Ashleigh during the month of wedding advent. She picked up her wedding dress after having it fitted one last time in the shoulders (petite indeed) and a blusher veil she had made using part of my veil. This past weekend we visited Savannah for a girls’ weekend. She and I stayed at a cute little Airbnb in downtown area of Savannah. We had fun a several local restaurants, Tybee, and touring. We had afternoon tea at The Gryphon and did a trolley ghost tour. We spent some time at the beach in nearby Tybee. (Don’t forget the bird in the people’s picnic basket). Near our Airbnb was a fun coffee shop. I read Ashleigh - Henny Penny. We enjoyed time at the River and walking the historic district. We also enjoyed the ghost tour via trolley. All in all, we had some food conversation and mother/ daughter time. Our last trip and hoorah with her as a single gal!
