Summer has come to an end and school has began! The boys started school this week. I also completed week 1 with my students. We had a great week! Ashleigh will begin her last semester next week. It was quite strange not helping her live to her from today. She and I setting up all the things ..while Chris has the lights and helps with the refrigerator. Then, she and I shopping for snacks and having lunch. This year it’s different (I’m growing - holding on to the memories), she will be on campus doing coursework and completing her clinical time/leadership time at a local hospital and commuting. Prayers for her learning and traveling. (This semester will be the one and only with the fewest credit hours ever!!! We are so proud of the opportunities God had granted her.
Austin is in 8th grade! He rides with me each morning and hangs out with another friend then, they walk over to the middle school I can’t believe my baby is growing up so fast! Praying for a wonderful school year!
Dylan is ready for school! This week we have had some trouble with transportation in the morning and late afternoons. He has the same teachers this school year as last (yes!) and our next door neighbor/ friend will be in some of his classes. He is so excited!
Also Ashleigh and Sam had a wonderful time on their honeymoon! They spent a week in California before going to Europe.
Chris, the boys, Helen and myself spent the last weekend of summer at the beach! We took Helen to Cane’s and the Ye Old Fashion. We all shared ice cream!
