Over Spring Break Austin and I (as chaperone) were about to go to Disney since his high school choir competed in Festival Disney. We walked about 37 miles in total. he and I rode a multitude of rides and had a a lot of fun!! We learned patience and appreciation too! We were able to try a variety of foods for lunch and dinner as well as snacks.
Our Concert Choir, comprised of students from all 5 of our standing choirs, came together for this one performance and competition! The choir competed against schools from Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Missouri, Virginia, Florida, and even another school from South Carolina.We received a Superior Rating and were named "Best in Class" (winners) of the Mixed Choir division out of 9 choirs from those states!With a score of 96.7 the choir earned the Silver Award (2nd place overall) for all choirs that performed and were just .6 points away from first! Overall, there were 14 choirs competing in the festival. We also got to enjoy all 4 of the Disney parks while we were there! The choir picture at Magic Kingdom was magical because it was taken the "rope drop" fireworks in front of the castle!
