School is in full swing. I have a student teacher most of the semester so that has definitely been a tremendous help especially with several academics changes and demands. Ashleigh and Sam are training for a 1/2 marathon In November. She has transitioned her schedule to an 11-11 shift and Sam is teaching AP classes this year. All is going well. Glorf is growing. Helen and Jim went to visit and Helen continues to rave how sweet Glorf is and how sweet Ashleigh is too. Love that they were able to spend time together.
Dylan is settling in at school for his last year. His teacher took a position as a leader position for his class to build the program and he has a different teacher (he is familiar) that will follow similarly to what has been established for his class. So that is good. He also began going to a doctor in my endocrinologist group. Hopeful to find out more about his thyroid too.
Austin has settled in to his classes this semester. He is enjoying his World History class as his teacher is able to make connections with his adventures all over the world he also offers the students opportunities to enjoy foods from various countries. We have been to a Central American restaurant and and Indian restaurant. The Indian restaurant is already a fave. However, we enjoyed both His choir has had a fall concert and he is playing soccer with the Y. He is loyal to his coach over all the years. He plays hard!
