Happy Birthday, Austin

Austin is 14! I can’t believe my baby is 14! Each year when it gets close to Austin’s birthday, I recall my pregnancy with him especially those last weeks and day of delivery. Although I was 41 weeks and 6 days, I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Also I am thankful that he moved and I didn’t need a c-section. We were also blessed with a sweet, loving, and caring little fella. He enjoys the life set for him. We are excited to see what this year brings. One will be high school. He will celebrate with his friends in a couple of weeks. However, as a family he had been wanting to have hibachi style Japanese so we took him. We also enjoyed watching the newest Transformer movie. We also used our a Krispy Kreme doughnut deal and enjoyed not only doughnuts for a couple of days but also hot, fresh glazed ones at the restaurant. Happy birthday, Austin!

Universal

After our cruise we drove over to Kississmee. We walked around and had snacks in what we call Downtown Disney but what is now known as Disney Springs. We stayed at a resort and we were able to go to Universal Studios. We visited both parks. We — Chris, the boys, me and Helen and Jim. They were troopers. We had a long day at the park but we were able to ride all the rides. Dylan liked Dasst and Furious best. Austin like the Jurassic Park roller coaster best. Chris liked the barge ride because he loved seeing his dad (jim) get caught in the water fall area. I did not go on the wet rides. Helen love Spider Man and enjoy much  laughing. I enjoyed the time we had together. I like many of the roses here. We were able to eat at 3 Broomsticks. It was delicious!

Family Cruise

So grateful to have this time to cruise with Helen and Jim (our fourth cruise with them) and Rhonda and Billy on their first cruise. We went to Nassau (Bahamas), Amber Cove (Dominican Republic), Grand Turks, and had several days at sea. We had a fun time learning about other cultures, relaxing, soaking up the sun, eating, and watching some fun shows. We were able to ride a roller coaster on the boat and do a ropes course that allowed you to zip line over the ocean. On an excursion, we drove to a school and a home in the countryside. We swam in the beautiful water at Grand Turk. The cruise ship had a large variety of new food choices. Most of all we made memories and had a lot of fun!
