Tropical Storm Florence

We have been out of school and work since Tuesday awaiting Hurricane Florence...Tropical Storm Florence. These days have brought us to eating (I have made breakfast, a light lunch ], snacks and dinner each day, exercising, shopping (Ashleigh and I battled the Walmart crowd on Monday to get batteries and a lighter in case the power went out. We also got a few groceries. Chris and I have gone to McDonalds for frappes, the autoparts store, Publix, and the gas station. We also ventured in the jeep for a ride.) , spending time with friends and family, helping Chris with the blue rocket, and playing games.

Ashleigh learned a new card game. She taught Chris, Austin, and me. We had great fun!

Look how serious she is

Ashleigh is the "Monkey in the Middle"

Yes-we are spoiled!

Sneaking to my bed-both boys!

Neighbors join in the fun
Austin is his sister's brother. He is walking around with the blanket wrapped around him (much like Ashleigh) and it isn't cold. You's think it was a blizzard not a Tropical Storm.

Look closely for the dragonfly and the butterflies Ashleigh and I saw on our walk.

Rainbow before the storm

Chompers resting and having fun too
