Hurricane Ian

It’s usually tradition to drive to the beach and check out the waves. This week wasn’t any different. Chris and I made it a date night too.

Hurricane Status: Wind and rain is crazy, watching every now and then as blinds in living room are open. Took Chompers out earlier — it was cold!!! Windy!! A little rainy! A lot rainy!(Who knows when he will go out next)Teacher Status: fielding dojo messages from my Student’s parents and seeing the turned in button being used as emails come in. Watching SafeSchool Videos amd lesson planning. Own children: e learning completed yesterday —Dylan recently woke up. Austin continues to sleep. Contemplating waking him. I have also made chili and getting ready to make pimento cheese so that we can have this for lunch. I’ve eaten Count Chocula earlier. Then we will watch eat some  snacks and about to watch Hocus Pocus...lights are flickering... and internet in/out And later finish watching Return of the Jedi and Super Dog. Clothes washing and folding….. but mainly chillaxin’ through the storm (water blowing in back door but it’s nothing big).Ian treated us kindly! Power flickered but remained on.  Lots of rain (8-15 inches reported in our neighborhood) and wind, but so much better than those in Florida endured. Movies, naps (Chompers and Chris), laying around (me) while doing SafeSchool videos, lesson planning, and browsing nursing scrubs and such for Ash and the boys playing games. Internet stayed on too!
